1. VERY REASONABLY PRICED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
Our annual membership fee of only $120 covers 12 monthly luncheons with a speaker. Each meeting counts for 1 hour of PD. It also gives you a lunch meal which is worth that much by itself, so it’s like getting an hour of PD for the cost of transportation!

2. EVEN MORE REASONABLY PRICED COURSES.
We hold between 3 and 5 afternoon courses each year on topics such as Income Tax Update, Accounting & Assurance Refresher, Income Tax Tips & Traps, Family Law considerations, etc. The cost to members for the 3 hours of PD ranges between $50 and $100 depending upon our costs.

3. ASSOCIATION WITH OTHER CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS.
We currently have a membership of over 80 local CAs from the area. Our usual lunch attendance is over 50 individuals. We have at least one tax specialist address our group after the main speaker at each meeting, giving us updates on current topics and things to watch for.

4. BOUNCE YOUR IDEAS OFF YOUR PEERS WHILE YOU EAT!
As a member of the group, you will associate with many of your peers who have had years of experience doing what you are doing. Often, the problem which you are having today, they have already solved, and are willing to share their experience with you. It’s like having a Mentor-in-a-meal!
